Indian Ayurvedic Cooking Classes
Come enjoy a hands on Cooking Class- which will teach you how to cook easy, healthy & nutritious vegetarian food

Each class starts with basic lecture on Ayurveda which includes recognition of 6 tastes, uses of different spices and their benefits followed by a short yoga and meditation class.

Individual-- private lessons- $200
Group – Requires a minimum of 2 participants $120/person and maximum of 6 persons in the class preferred.

- Discovering the “6 tastes”
- How to make ghee
- How to cook with Indian Spices
- Indian vegetable curries and rice dishes
- Chutney and Yogurt Raita
- Authentic Chai (Tea), cooling Shikanji( lemonade), Mattha( spiced buttermilk), and Mango Lassi ( Mango Shake)
- Healthy Appetizers -ginger lemon honey tea and various kind of chutneys.
- Deserts like rice kheer, date almond and coconut burfi
- How to prepare Kitchari – special Ayurvedic cleansing diet which is good for all body type.
- Vegetable pilaf - rice, quinoa, mix vegetables and spices
- How to make wholesome Indian breads- knead, roll and cook different kind of flatbread ( rotis, stuffed parathas).
