Indian Ayurvedic Cooking Classes
Come enjoy a hands on Cooking Class- which will teach you how to cook easy, healthy & nutritious vegetarian food

  • Learn to eat according to your body type and seasons
  • Discovering the “6 tastes”
  • How to make ghee
  • How to cook with Indian Spices
  • Indian vegetable curries and rice dishes 
  • Chutney and Yogurt Raita
  • Authentic Chai (Tea), cooling Shikanji( lemonade), Mattha( spiced buttermilk), and Mango Lassi ( Mango Shake)
  • Healthy Appetizers -ginger lemon honey tea and various kind of chutneys.
  • Deserts like rice kheer, date almond and coconut burfi
  • How to prepare Kitchari – special Ayurvedic cleansing diet which is good for all body type.
  • Vegetable pilaf - rice, quinoa, mix vegetables and spices
  • How to make wholesome Indian breads- knead, roll and cook different kind of flatbread ( rotis, stuffed parathas).

Each class starts with basic lecture on Ayurveda which includes recognition of 6 tastes, uses of different spices and their benefits followed by a short yoga and meditation class.

Individual-- private lessons- $85 
Group – Requires a minimum of 2 participants $60/person and maximum of 6 persons in the class preferred.
